On the first day of school in Montreal, Global TV News and Le Devoir newspaper both ask: why is Nesbitt school on the chopping block? Julie Barlow has been fighting for the past five months to keep this successful bilingual school open. EMSB Director General Robert Stocker told Maclean’s magazine last week that Nesbitt is “draining” other schools.
