On the feast day of St. John the Baptist, (La Fête de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste), the Franco Center, in association with the Franco-American Collection at USM/LAC and the Quebec Delegation to Boston, will host an event in celebration of Franco-American culture and heritage.
The event will start with a social hour and cash bar in the Center’s Heritage Hall at 11 a.m. At 12:15 p.m., a feast day luncheon will be served, followed by a celebration of the event in the Performance Hall. This will include a keynote address by award-winning Canadian author, Julie Barlow. Other special guests include Bishop Robert Deeley, Diocese of Portland, and Marie-Claude Francoeur, head of the Québec Delegation to Boston.
