Organizations, companies and associations outside France have frequently asked Nadeau and Barlow to help them de-mystify the French. Nadeau and Barlow have given roughly 75 talks on France and the French language in Canada, the U.S., France, the U.K., the Netherlands, South Korea and Japan.

Nadeau and Barlow are frequently called to explain the inside story of how French evolved and spread across the planet. Outside of France, the authors have become veritable motivational speakers for people studying and teaching French. In France and at home in Quebec, their audiences are often stunned to hear how French is progressing in the world.

Nadeau and Barlow have been keynote speakers for the Federation of Alliances française USA, the American Association of Teachers of French, the Ontario Modern Language Teachers Association and more. They have spoken at the International Day of the Francophonie, and have given numerous presentations at Alliances françaises and Quebec Delegations throughout North America.
